September's Projects
This photo is a picture of a piece of paper with a horizontal and vertical line through the middle creating four equal boxes with my name, period, and my ID number in the bottom right corner of the paper. It also has a brick which I drew from a bird’s eye view to make it look like the drawing was seen from up high looking down on it.
This photo is a photo of the last picture with the real measurements of the brick, however not drawn to scale, and an extra perspective of the brick from the side. We measured the brick with a ruler and got the measurements displayed in the picture along the sides of the brick.
The photo above is a picture of the same brick from a diagonal angle with all sides showing, the top, front, and side view. The picture also includes the door on the front and a isometric label in the bottom left of the page.
This photo is a picture of me doing the work a certain worksheet for school. This type of photo is called an "Action Shot" because it shows me in action, doing work. This photo was taken like this because according to Mr. G’s photo rules, we need at least one action shot for the whole week and I forgot to take one until that day. It is a picture of me doing the ditto and completing each letter with their corresponding measurements.
This picture is a picture of a paper divided into six parts and the top right box is cut at the corners while the top right box is cut with a curve in left in the inner corner. The box with the curve has a significantly greater tear than the corner box because although it did have more resistance, we didn’t know when it would break and as a result of that the rip was sudden and more greater. The box with the square corner would be more fragile yet the tear produced would be more controlled.
This picture displayed the piece of paper folded to be able to support and carry the phone even when extended past the edge of the phone. I had originally tried to support the phone with the paper being flat, but I instantly knew that the phone wouldn't be supported and fall. This project was supposed to show us how with a bit of folds and adjustments something light can carry something much heavier.
This picture is very similar to the last picture, however this time it is a textbook being held up by a piece of paper modified to carry it.. The modification was just that we rolled it up into a cylindrical shape so that the circle on top would be able to spread out and be able to carry the textbook since the book is resting on a open surface area.
This picture shows a completely box labeled with its contents . I sorted the gloves from everything else and decided to label the box with the contents inside. I also used my bilingual skills to label the box in English and in Spanish so that even the bilingual kids won’t mix up the contents inside. There shouldn’t be any reason why there should anything else but gloves in the box from now on.
